Keeping You From Falling Through The Cracks

Uncommon Advocate
If you don't have family that is able or willing to guide you, protect you and fight for you in all things great and small, we're inviting you to be grafted into ours. As your uncommon advocate we'll stand by you with loyalty, care, and dedication. Just as family would instruct, support and defend you, we'll ensure you're making informed decisions about financial and legal matters that may ultimately put you in a bind. We'll help you navigate difficult or scary circumstances involving work, school or home to make sure you're set up for success. We'll even attend appointments or meetings with you and speak on your behalf if you prefer. Our goal is to make sure you see the 360 degree view of your situation, understand your options, and ultimately help you make decisions that are in your best interest in both the short and long term. And we won't let anyone take advantage of you. Here are some of the many ways we can help:

Support for People with Disabilities or Senior Citizens
Are you the parent of a child with disabilities and would appreciate support speaking with the principal about your child's needs at school? Are you concerned about the welfare of a senior citizen in your family or community? We can help in a number of ways. After we understand your situation, we can help you write a powerful letter that states your position and your desired solution or we can write it for you. We can coach you to lead a conversation in the same way or we can speak on your behalf. We'll even attend meetings with you as your support if you desire. We can even brainstorm out-of-the-box solutions to the problem. Our goal is always to help you achieve your goal without going to court. Our role as your advocate never establishes an attorney-client relationship and if you need and attorney to represent you, we can help you find one.

Review & Interpret Legal Documents
Having us review and interpret legal documents before you sign them offers crucial protection, clarity and peace of mind. Legal language can be complex, filled with hidden clauses or obligations that may not be immediately clear. We'll ensure that you fully understand your rights, responsibilities, and potential risks. We can help you identify unfair terms and possibly negotiate better conditions. Our expertise will help you avoid future legal disputes and ensure all documents you sign are aligned with your best interest. Whether it's a purchase contract, a rental lease, or any legal agreement, we want to help you make an informed decision with confidence and security before committing legally.

Housing
Landlord-tenant disputes always arise from financial, lease, maintenance, privacy, eviction, and legal issues. If you've received a letter from your landlord that you'd like to dispute, we can help you determine if you have legal standing to do that by helping you understand the terms of your lease and applicable laws. Then, depending on where you stand, we'll guide you through a conversation with your landlord to hopefully resolve the conflict in a way that is in your best interest in both the short and long-term and avoid court. If you have a concern or request that needs your landlord's attention, we can help you professionally craft a problem-solution letter. If you've already moved out and your dispute is over a damage deposit bill, we can help you negotiate lowering the amount. Whatever your issue is, we'll come alongside you. Our goal is always to help you achieve your goal without going to court. Our role as your advocate never establishes an attorney-client relationship and if you need and attorney to represent you, we can help you find one.

Work
Employee-employer disputes often involve compensation, treatment, contracts, workplace conditions, and scheduling conflicts. If you've received a disciplinary action form from your employer and you do not want to be terminated, we can help you keep your job by putting a plan together for you to not only meet, but to exceed the standards set forth. If you have an issue with your employer, we can help you professionally navigate that conversation before you have it. If your employer owes you compensation, we can help you get it and avoid court. Whatever your workplace issue is, we've got your back. We'll even coach you through the process to find a new job or help you explore side hustles that best fit your lifestyle and passion. Our goal is always to help you achieve your goal without going to court. Our role as your advocate never establishes an attorney-client relationship and if you need and attorney to represent you, we can help you find one.

Family Court Coaching & Other Pro Se Court Support
Going to court without an attorney can be intimidating. If you're representing yourself in court, we can help you. As your coach, we'll provide you with essential guidance and support throughout your legal dispute. We'll help you understand court procedures and legal terms, and we'll make sure that you know what documentation is necessary for you to present a strong case. We'll offer strategic advice, emotional reassurance, and practical solutions for issues like custody, divorce, and child support. We'll improve your preparedness and confidence so you can present your case effectively. Although we specialize in family law and family court coaching, we can support you in similar ways if you're a pro se litigant in other areas of law by keeping you organized, helping you make informed decisions, and avoiding common legal pitfalls. Our coaching service does not establish an attorney-client relationship. If you decide to retain an attorney to represent you, we can help you find one.
